Fall Action

Coming off of an epic summer, the fall conditions are shaping up to offer some amazing ocean experiences. The south shore surf in Poipu is settling down and the light and variable winds are creating some flat and glassy waters on the south shore. The visibility on our snorkel charters has been amazing as were seeing 100-foot visibility on some days giving you the feeling your snorkeling in an aquarium.

Our charters have been lucky to have been visited by our resident pods of spinner dolphins both while on the boat and have even been surprised with a couple fly by’s while snorkeling! The usual green sea turtles are just as unaffected by our presence as ever and just chill and do their turtle thing while our guests minds are blown cruising right alongside these magnificent creatures. There even has been a few whales spotted along the south shore.

The fishing action has also been heating up with a late season Ahi run offering the chance of a lifetime to tangle into one of these huge Tunas. Smaller tunas have been gathering around the ofshore fads offering some great light tackle action. The fall ono run has also been impressive as we change tactics and start more live baiting we’ve been blessed with some lighting strikes from one of the fastest (and best tasting fish in the ocean) the ono or (wahoo). The Fal and winter fishing conditions offers us an array of different fishing opportunities.

Looking forward to the Thanksgiving and Christmas season our tours can fill up fast. We’ll be offering multiple departures throughout the day to accommodate our guests and don’t forget you can customize your private charter. The Humpback whales are on their way in large numbers and we’ll be opening up our whale watch tours in the coming month. Winter is the best time to encounter the magnificent manta rays as well and experience some beautiful ocean conditions.

We look forward to seeing you soon. Aloha
